FOME-CORâ Fome-Cor , the Original Foam Board, consists of a sheet of extruded polystyrene foam laminated on both sides with 12 point white clay-coated paper liners. For more than 35 years, its superior combination of light weight and rigidity has made it a preferred material for a wide variety of Graphic Arts applications ranging from point-of-purchase and department store displays to picture framing and photo mounting. Ideal for mounting, screen printing, and die cutting with the ability to emboss (pillow). Special sizes are available from our cut-to-size service or from the factory. ACID FREE Acid-Free Fome-Cor has been developed for mounting virtually all types of artwork and valued objects including prints, photos, maps, and memento’s. Acid Free Fome-Cor is the substrate of choice for preservation and conservation for all works of art. SELF ADHESIVE – "Just Peel & Stick" Can be used with photos, lithographs, posters, most digital printing papers, copier papers, newsprint and many other common materials. Available in low tack and high tack.Low Tack The low tack "positionability" allows prints to be positioned without immediately sticking in place. High Tack The high tack professional strength allows prints to be mounted with an instant high strength bond. HEAT ACTIVATED - offers an easy to use, timesaving, and cost-effective mounting package. The original Fome-Cor board is evenly coated on one side with adhesive which activates rapidly at a low temperature and provides a secure bond. It has 12 point clay-coated liners and an extruded polystyrene foam, like standard Fome-Cor. However, JetMount is a full ¼" thick and the foam is enhanced to give it a harder feel with more rigidity and warp resistance. GATORBLANKSâ GatorBlanks are a lightweight, rigid, extruded polystyrene foam with a smooth white surface. They are perfect for making three-dimensional letters, graphics, and free forms. You can cut them with a variety of tools including a hot-wire cutter, knife- blade saw, cut-awl, high-speed router, or fine-tooth band saw. They can also be easily mounted or laminated. Available 49"x97" in 1" and 2" thicknesses. GATORPLASTâ Gatorplast is an all plastic sheet with extruded polystyrene foam core laminated on both sides with a 15-mil high-impact polystyrene cap sheet with a special matte finish. Gatorplast board is ideal for painted or screen printed displays, photo mounting and sign making. This matte finish is perfect for high-quality screen printing with any finish from flat to gloss. Both cut-to-shape lettering and vinyl lettering may be applied to Gatorplast, then removed or repositioned without incurring damage to this graphic arts board’s tough, plastic surface.
